So I was attempting sleep the other night, and suddenly I sat up and thought, Apples to Apples is NOT the correct name for that game!!! Yeah people are all homo sapiens, however, we each have VERY different personalities! It's like trying to compare crackers to celery or something! or strawberries to tv shows! it just doesn't work. So they're trying to make us all fit into categories! I've never felt more stereotyped.
The opposing argument would be that people are finding their apples; the things that do accurately describe them. Have you ever played Apples to Apples the way where every green card you win is supposed to be what you are (i.e. fresh, pure, sexy, attractive, patriotic, chunky, luscious etc)? well, these are your newly found apples. treasure them, for they are you. They describe your being, your essence. Never let them go!
on the other hand. it's Apples to Apples. Enjoy it. Laugh at yourself...and at the ironic destiny of the 'my body' card.
